1. Purpose

Doppel Talk provides voice generation and cloning technology. This powerful technology comes with responsibility. This AUP ensures our platform is used ethically and legally.

2. Prohibited Content

You may NOT use Doppel Talk to create, distribute, or store:

2.1 Impersonation & Deepfakes

• Voice content that impersonates real individuals without their explicit consent
• Deepfakes or synthetic media intended to deceive
• Content designed to mislead others about its synthetic nature
• Fraudulent voice content for scams or identity theft

2.2 Illegal Content

• Content that violates any applicable law or regulation
• Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Content promoting illegal activities
• Content that violates export control laws

2.3 Harmful Content

• Harassment, threats, or intimidation
• Hate speech or discrimination
• Content promoting violence or self-harm
• Sexually explicit content involving minors
• Content that exploits or endangers children

2.4 Spam & Abuse

• Unsolicited bulk communications
• Robocalls or automated calling abuse
• Phishing or social engineering attacks
• Malware distribution

3. Voice Cloning Ethics

3.1 Consent Requirements

When cloning a voice, you MUST:

• Have explicit consent from the voice owner
• Be the voice owner yourself
• Use voices you have legal rights to clone (e.g., licensed voice actors)

3.2 Documentation

We recommend maintaining:

• Written consent records
• Clear documentation of voice ownership
• Records of licensing agreements

3.3 Prohibited Cloning

You may NOT clone:

• Public figures without authorization
• Deceased individuals without estate permission
• Children under 18 without parental consent
• Any voice obtained without proper consent

4. API Usage

4.1 Fair Use

• Respect rate limits and quotas
• Do not attempt to circumvent usage restrictions
• Do not resell API access without authorization

4.2 Security

• Keep API credentials confidential
• Report any security vulnerabilities
• Do not probe or test system security without permission

4.3 Integration Requirements

• Clearly disclose AI-generated voice content where required by law
• Do not use API to build competing services without permission
• Maintain audit logs of API usage

5. Commercial Use

5.1 Permitted

• Creating voice content for your business
• Generating IVR and customer service audio
• Producing marketing and advertising content (with proper consent)
• Building products that integrate our API (per API terms)

5.2 Restricted

• Reselling generated content as a competing TTS service
• Bulk generation for spam or abuse
• Creating voice models for redistribution

6. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this AUP:

7. Enforcement

7.1 Monitoring

We may monitor usage to ensure compliance with this AUP.
